Who is Alessandro Marrarosa

Alessandro is an experienced professional with a rich background in entrepreneurship, business coaching, and digital strategy. He is currently a consultant and entrepreneur at the Raiffeisen Group's Business Center, where he has been working since April 2022. His motto is “From idea to implementation”, which he has consistently put into practice throughout his career.

Alessandro is also a member of the Swiss Marketing Ticino committee and has been a trainer at Content is King since October 2021. He has been teaching Digital Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) since 2018, and he founded and managed digitalizzazione.ch from September 2017 to August 2023 to help companies envision the future.

Previously, Alessandro was the CEO of Veco Digital SA, a company that helps entrepreneurs understand which technologies will help them achieve their business goals faster. He also served as a coach at the Boldbrain Startup Challenge.

Alessandro has a strong educational background with a Master of Advanced Studies in Computer Science from SUPSI and has completed a Certified Board Member (CBM) course. He also holds a certificate in Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption from INSEAD and an MIT Fintech Certificate Course: Future Commerce from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Alessandro is multilingual, fluent in Italian, English, French, and German. He co-authored a publication titled "FinTech: evolution and opportunities for the Canton of Ticino," showcasing his expertise in the field of financial technology.

In his local community in Lugano, Ticino, Alessandro is known for his dedication to helping startups and companies grow. He is a co-founder of the NetComm Suisse Association and has been a member since June 2012. He also served as a jury member at STARTUPS.CH AG from September 2012 to September 2017.

With great pride, Alessandro has been married for 20 years to the beautiful, intelligent, and caring Sabrina Marrarosa, and they share two children, Gaia and Francesco.
